Netflix has decided to cancel The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance series just after one season. I literally decided to watch the series and finish it this weekend just gone... I think it's needless to say that I'm beyond gutted. Maybe if it gets enough exposure from the news alone, therefore getting people to watch the series, and then inevitably boost the view count?...I can hope!

But I've started a Skekmal sketch and would really like to draw art from the series, particularly SkekMal, the Emperor, and SkeSil (Chamberlain). It's a gorgeous, dark fantasy that I didn't expect to like so much! I wasn't even a fan of the original movie back in the day but I now have grown new fangirl eyes for both the franchise and even have a new appreciation for Labyrinth ♥_♥

Just checking in as I tend to forget about journals ^^ I'm still working on the Tamersona posts which were relevant when the tag was still happening, but I'm stubborn and won't let a project go unfinished. I'm finding recently that I just want to enjoy the process of drawing and let pieces "bake" so I can spot mistakes or corrections I want to make. Doesn't always work, but I'm getting there! So even though I've been working on them, I still have other pieces I'm enjoying (which I'll upload when the tag is done.)

I've met some really lovely people through drawing and admiring their art and such and blah. And it feels good for the soul! I shouldn't get so frustrated with nitpicking my stuff and telling myself off for not posting enough haha~ That being said I still don't feel up for commissions as I feel really self-conscious about doing art for others, whereas trades I'm only doing for people I feel comfortable with. Give me time, I'm working on this ^^

I want to try and branch out onto other fandoms. And when I say fandoms, I only mean other things I'm selfishly interested in XD I've recently become re-obsessed with W.I.T.C.H and I really want to draw from that series, particularly Cedric (shut up, he's beautiful!) and of course my beloved Hellsing as the whole series has dropped on Netflix. That was a much needed week of CAKE ♥
